If you guys ask me how my new year eve went,
it pretty much sucked.
Plans were cancelled and I spent the whole day rotting at home.
How enjoyable.
Oh, those who goes to Jurong point,
if you compared the previous size with the current one,
the difference is HUGE.
It has expanded to such brobdingnagian dimensions as to have entered the realm of the absurd.

Okay, as promised,
my Christmas post!
'Twas a simple yet fulfilling day.
In the morning, went to Gigi's house to bake some cooookies for our loved ones!
DOUBLE CHOCOLATE COOKIES!
We made two batches.
One with M&M's, and the other with Macademia nuts.
:)



It turned out really good.
Phew.
HAHA.




Went to my place later on to pack the cookies to make it prettier.
HAHAHA.

Meeting him later for a Christmas dinner.

Sidenote: We wanted to bake more cookies the next day to give our buddies too as we didnt bake enough on that day but we wanted to try something new so we baked CUPCAKES instead with Marshmallow fondant as the "icing" and iono, it didnt turn out so well.
:(
But it was too late to bake more cookies and stuff already so...
Sorry buddies! I hope you still appreciate it nonetheless.

Rushed to do my daily gyming and quickly prepared to go out!
Had not enough time to doll up nicely though.
Cos I was late LOL.
We met at like 6 when we're supposed to like meet at 430pm.

So yeah, I jus wore this plain green top from Mango with jeans and put on some eyeliner so I wouldnt look THAT sloppy.
AND,
I HAD THE BEST HAIR DAY IN THE WORLD!
HAHAHAA.


Met up with my baby at Starbucks(:
Shared a Toffee Nut drink :D
Gave him the cookies.
And he tried one of em.
I was filled with trepidation and when he said he loved it,
A sense of triumph was in the air.
:P

Went to this cosy place for our Christmas dinner.

I love the ambience.
Cosy, simple, with a beautiful Christmas tree.
And its not noisy or crowded or anything, so I still can have my alone time with my boyfriend(:


I love their tea! :)
Some flower tea.
I cant remember.
But its mixed with alot of flowers.
And omg, its sooo goood! :)

We were STARVING so we decided to order side dishes first and our main course later.
Their side dishes were delicious and unique!
Thumbs up!

We tried the their tofu salad (I think) and it was soo good we kinda gobbled it up before I realised I havent took a picture of it.
LOL.

The second side dish which we tried was..

The Mango Udon Roll.
THIS IS SO GOOD.
Amazing.
Two thumbs up(:
We were surprised at how the mango actually compliments the udon and the chilli so well!
Very very good(:

By the time we finished the side dishes,
we were already like 3/4 full.
LOL.
MUST BE THE UDON IN THE ROLL LOR!!
HAHA.

So when our main dish came, we were like...
"Shit."
LOL.
We both ordered crepe(:

Personally, I only give the crepe about a 6/10.
I find its not flavorful enough and that the taste and thickness of the crepe kinda overwhelms everything else lol.
The side dishes are better(:

Nonetheless, it was a satisfying dinner.
We were sooo bloated.
We went to the couch (yes they have this couch with alot of pillows on em!) and slacked there, cuddling and jus chitchatting. Haha!
Played BOGGLE afterwards.
'Twas my first time, but I love it!
So fun!

And drank more tea...


Went home late.

That was my Christmas.

& see the broken pieces as long as I lived.

Love is what all of us are born with.
Fear is what we learn throughout the years.
I believe that the spiritual journey is the unlearning of fear & prejudices
& the acceptance of pure love back in our hearts.
Love is truly the essential reality and our purpose in life.

And to be consciously aware of it,
to really take the risk,
give our all and experience love in ourselves & others,
is the real meaning of life.

Meaning does not lie in things.
Meaning lies in us.
